i can be excited..

usually there are a few random days
in the summer
that i get the urge for the christmas season
and all that it brings.

one of those days was today.
don't get me wrong though.
i love summer
and i'm not taking these summer days for granted.
but i don't mind getting a little excited for
-cooler weather
-fuzzy socks
-hot cocoa
-temple square lights
-christmas sweaters
-the grinch
and all that jazz.

and if this christmas season
is half as good as the last,
i will be completely happy.

but i know it will be better.

it's still 4 months away.
{well actually 2 for me, since i play christmas music the day after halloween...}
but i can still be excited,
can't i?
