campout!

a few months ago
we all got an e-mail saying:

"i reserved a campsite at heber valley camp for june 8th and 9th
hope to see you there.

love,
grandma"

and that's how grandma does it.
no asking around to see when would be best for everyone
just plan it
and they will come.

which they did.

camping with the whole nilsson clan is sure a treat!
especially when uncle hawk's family is in town
since they are pretty much the only family
that doesn't live in Utah.

i say it all the time,
but really i LOVE being with my family!
it's always a good time!
{even if heber valley camp has about as many rules as the prison..
and their gospel analogies were a pretty big stretch.. come on now.
we aren't beehives in young women's anymore.. hahaha
oh and i got ZERO sleep last night. creaky beds and sleep talking all around!}
and there's always good food, of course.

so when you put:
-the best family {our cousins rule more than yours!}
-good food
-a zip line and giant swing
-lake+paddle boats+my ukulele
-squishing in grandma's car
-the beauty of utah
-and LOTS of laughter
together,
it makes out to be a pretty great weekend!
