we've been preparing for oh so long.

this has been my desktop background for the last month

re-read the book to freshen up.

listening to the soundtrack

viewing is mandatory

t shirt. check.

katniss braid. check.

7 minutes and 59 seconds.

and here is what i have to say about it.

good and bad things

{ps the following may contain spoilers...but you should have read the book anyways!}

1. i wish madge was in the movie and gave the pin the katniss like in the book. 

2. the fact that there was hardly any background music really added to the movie in a very good way.

especially during the reaping {totally cried} and when it was silent during the blood bath.

3. the fire costumes were a let down :( i was expecting much more fire. like a LOT more and i wish cinna had told them to hold hands, like in the book, rather than peeta just grabbing her hand.

4. they nailed the characters. everyone was perfect down to cinna's gold eyeliner.

5. cinna is the man.

6. thank goodness they didn't drag out cato's death like in the book. 

7. i didn't like the end of the movie. they didn't do the whole scene where katniss basically says she was faking everything and assumed peeta was faking everything too, but he wasnt. that didn't happen in the movie...

so yes, i have my critiques. but basically, i refuse to not like the movie.

i was the same way with harry potter.

i'd definitely see it again!
