a wonderful man in my home ward,
Jared Lyman,
passed away this passed friday.
he had been sick for a very long time
and it was not sudden
but still tragic...
he and his family sat in front of ours
almost every sunday.
i did not know him well
but could tell he was a wonderful
husband
and father.
his wife,
emily,
is so amazingly strong.
i do not know her that well either,
but i look up to her in so many ways.
she is confident and strong
and i hope i can be as strong as her one day.
for some reason death hits me really hard these days.. even if i don't know the person well.
but
she knows she will see her husband again.
and i know she will.
Thank goodness for that knowledge...
on another note..
super bowl sunday.
or what i like to call...
"eat a lot of food while the tv is on" sunday.
cause honestly, i don't care about the super bowl
especially when i don't care about the teams playing.
but i can always expect good food and good company
on super bowl sunday!
chips and queso
and home made cafe rio.
mmmm....
on the way back to orem
i was trying to be fine
but i was pretty emotionally unstable.
i did not receive a letter from my best friend this week.
it was kinda hard on me..
the first thing i did when i got back to orem?
check the mail...
just in case.
...................................................................
LETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
{thanks annie for taking this candid picture!}
unbelievably happy.
thank you elder walter!!!!!!!!!!!
