secret dream..

ever since i was little,
i've always loved to watch figure skating.
the random times it was on tv,
or in the winter olympics.
i just think it's so beautiful!
and it's always been a secret
{ok not so secret} dream of mine
to be a figure skater.
so it's funny that i had never been ice skating before
i was about 14 years old!
and i was scared stupid to actually go!
but i did.
and as i suspected. i loved it. i LOVE it!



so now i go skating probably a little bit more
than an average person.

and as a result i got my very own pair of ice skates
last christmas.
and i didn't even wish for them!
they are beautiful pair of white skates
that i treasure!

the galivan center downtown ice rink
is my favorite place to go.
it has recently been remodeled
and it is MAGICAL.

so this fine day
{since it is like 50 degrees is january...}
me and addison went ice skating at the galivan.
and it really was the perfect day!
not FREEZING
and there were only like 7 people there!
we basically had the rink to ourselves.

and let me tell you,
ice skating makes some of my fondest memories!
i'm not even a very good skater.
but it's one of my favorite things!

and out of all the people in this world
of 7 people in the rink
were 2 of addison's old friends
from elementary school!

it was the perfect day!
and a perfect memory to make before my best friend
leaves on his mission!
