...pathetic

ever have a moment
where you are just sitting there
and you admit to yourself
how pathetic you are in that moment.

me and ann had this moment tonight.

it was a normal monday night
watching the bachelor, of course.
i realize i'm hungry.
so i break out a bag of chips
hoping they will satisfy some part of my hunger.

nothin.

so i have a bowl of cereal.
{annie joins me}

nothin.

{at this point jono and chance have joined us in watching the bachelor:women tell all! haha love these guys. after it's over they leave to go to their FHE}

we sit on the couch, pretty quiet.
"im so hungry."
"me too.."

we both have some fruit snacks.

nothin.

we mope around our kitchen and stare into our cupboard
for 10 minutes.

"i'm still like way hungry"
"so am i. we have no food!"

we sit on the couch
and start once upon a time.
we are both silent
and once again,
"im so hungry still!"
"me too! nothing has even made a dent!
our stomachs are bottomless pits... like the bottomless chips and salsa at chili's..."
"...... do you want to go to chili's....."
"....yes...."
{at this point it's about 9:15 PM}
and it is at this moment we both realize
how pathetic we are.
BUT
we go to chili's anyways.
looking pathetic.
feeling pathetic.
talking pathetic.

bottomless chips and salsa, you betcha!

but that's not all...

a full on meal as well.

YES WE KNOW WE ARE PATHETIC!!

suddenly we feel as though everything we have eaten

hits us all at once.

thank goodness for take home boxes.

hooray for left overs.

and i think to myself:

this is such a typical college experience.

let's hope it doesn't happen often.

hahahahahahahahaha

all in all

this will definitely go down in the books as a night to remember!!
