thanksgiving break is over.
this means
i'm back at my apartment.
and the christmas season is
OFFICIALLY upon us!
{even though it was upon me the first of november!}

this means i put out my first
{and most important}
 christmas decoration

this means for FHE we
made sugar cookies
decorated stockings
and wrote christmas cards!
{which i wrote one for bre and her apartment!}

then a good ol' trip to walmart

to purchase decorations for the aparment!

lights happen to be my favorite christmas decor!

{oh and we got some mistletoe. but don't worry... it will be used in short supply.. haha}

me and annie just got so excited for christmas.

such a wonderful time of year.

it was a pretty small crowd

all the tradtional foods, plus a toast given by grandpa.

and when he was finished i totally said "cheers! id drink to that!"

after the festivities at the haws home 

me and my dad hopped over to the nilsson home.

yes i grabbed some leftover rolls there.

and made it in time for thanksgiving bingo!

i watch the grinch every year on the night of thanksgiving. 

not only is it my favorite holiday movie

but one of my all time favorite movies!

i guarantee it will be watched SEVERAL time this season!

and have always just gotten along really well.

after graduation she moved up to utah state

so seeing her is rare now!

she was in town for thanksgiving break and i went and saw her

and we just talked and caught up with each other

for about an hour and half.

we are just so funny. i love hanging out with erin:)

it was so great to see her again!!

today is the day for the annual vocal point concert.

because they have just been on the sing-off.

it's the final book of the twilight series.
and the movie {part1} came out tonight.
yes i read the books.
yes i LOVED the books.
the movies haven't really been my favorite,
but its just something i wanted to see!
and annie hooked us up with PRE-SHOWING
tickets for a 6 o'clock show.
yeah midnights fun,
but it was nice not to be leaving a theater at 2:30 am.

yes addison came with us. he definitely thought it was stupid.

i really actually liked the movie.
everything was better.
it stuck to the book.
the acting was so much better.
everyone looked better.
it was a little disturbing in some parts
and some of it was super cheesy,
but when you think about it...
its not weird when your're reading it,
it all seems normal.
but watching it on a screen?
there's not way to avoid the cheese. haha
and pretty much everyone walked out of our theater laughing.
still it was good!

got a 90 on my english paper that i didnt even start until 10 the night before it was due!
did ceramics with addison. we are making a tree that will hold my jewelry. it's sweet.

for lack of a better post title.
let me first just tell you that i went to bed at
10:30 last night.
10:30! record in college for me..
and i didnt even hear annie come in..
but a few hours later,
i wake up to annie sitting up saying
something about out closet
{you see she sleep talks... and i just play along now}
after our conversation like 30 seconds later
some one knocks on our window.
its about 2:00 am at this point.
they say "aubrey! aubrey!"
annie says"im scared.."
i get up at look out the window and who is it?
one of my best friends.

and guess what... im not even surprised!
i just tell her ive been asleep for THREE hours already!
really it was quite funny...

but i got a nice rest and was productive this morning.
math was math..
i came home to watch Bolt with addison and popcorn
and
BCF(best cousin forever) scooter came over to give me the next
book in the series im reading.
we all watched man vs food
{which we love love}

ALSO FUN STORY!
these guys from upstairs just walked into our apartment
and one was playing the guitar
and the other was dancing
and they made up a song to invite us to nicklecade.
really it was entertaining.

well, i read out loud and addison listened. :)

i visited bre today and i really enjoyed it.
we caught up on each others lives and shared some laughs.
so great.
